Slack Integration — receive CooVex alerts in your team's channels

Connect CooVex to Slack and route different alerts to different channels — lead signals to #sales, website alerts to #engineering, your daily brief to your own DM.

The CooVex Slack integration lets you receive all CooVex notifications directly in Slack — in channels you choose, formatted as readable Slack messages. This keeps your team informed without requiring everyone to log into CooVex to check the inbox.

Connecting Slack

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack
  2. Click Add to Slack
  3. Sign in to Slack and select the workspace to connect
  4. Authorize CooVex to post to channels
  5. Return to CooVex — you are now connected

Routing notifications to channels

After connecting, set up routing rules. For each notification type, choose a Slack channel:

Notification typeSuggested channel
Daily Brief#daily-brief or DM to yourself
Lead alerts (hot lead, score jump)#sales or #leads
Competitor alerts#strategy or #competitive
Website / site health alerts#engineering or #marketing
Revenue alerts#finance or DM to founder
Review alerts#support or #customer-success

You can route different alert types to different channels. A message can also go to a channel AND a specific person’s DM simultaneously.

Notification format in Slack

CooVex Slack messages are formatted with:

  • Bold title describing the event
  • 2-3 sentence context explaining why it matters
  • A button that links directly to the relevant page in CooVex

For the Daily Brief, the Slack message shows the key metrics and top 3 tasks as a formatted list. Full brief details are available by clicking the link to CooVex.

Quiet hours

Set quiet hours in Settings → Notifications to prevent Slack messages outside of working hours. During quiet hours, alerts are held and delivered as a digest at the start of the next working day.
