Daily Brief — your AI-generated morning report
Every morning CooVex delivers a personalized business brief covering what changed overnight, what needs your attention, and what to watch this week.
The CooVex Daily Brief is an AI-generated report delivered to you every morning before your workday starts. It is built from your real business data — not a generic newsletter — and answers one question: what do I need to know and do today?
What the Daily Brief contains
Each brief includes five sections:
1. Overnight summary
A 3-4 sentence plain-English summary of the most significant things that changed since yesterday. Examples: a competitor announced a new feature, your site traffic spiked, a previously cold lead returned to your pricing page.
2. Priority signals
The top 3-5 Agent Signals ranked by urgency. Each includes a one-line summary and a direct link to act.
3. Today’s task list
Your AI-generated task list for the day — specific, ranked by impact, with direct links.
4. Key numbers
A snapshot of your most important metrics vs. yesterday: active leads, hot leads, site health score, and any revenue figures you have connected.
5. What to watch
2-3 forward-looking items: leads approaching a decision point, competitor campaigns ramping up, a content gap that is growing in search volume. These are not urgent today but should be on your radar this week.
How the brief is delivered
You can receive your brief in three ways:
- In-app — appears on your Dashboard every morning and under Agent → Report
- Email — HTML-formatted email sent to your registered address or a custom address
- Slack — posted to a channel of your choice at your configured time
Configure delivery in Settings → Notifications → Daily Brief.
Setting your delivery time
Default delivery is 7:00 AM in your workspace timezone. You can change this to any time between 5:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The brief is always generated fresh for your chosen delivery time — not pre-generated at midnight.
If you want the brief later in the morning (e.g., 9:00 AM after your first meeting), you can configure that. The agent simply uses more recent data.
Customizing the brief
Go to Settings → Agent Config → Brief Preferences to customize:
- Which sections to include or exclude
- Which metrics appear in the Key Numbers section
- Which competitors to always include in the Overnight Summary
- The tone: concise (bullet list) vs. narrative (paragraph format)
- Whether to include the Week Ahead section (disabled by default, shows a 7-day outlook)
Frequently asked questions
What if nothing significant happened overnight?
The brief is still sent, but the summary will reflect that. It will highlight lower-priority items that would normally be buried. The agent does not pad with noise — if it was a quiet night, the brief says so.
Can multiple team members get the brief?
Yes. Each team member can configure their own delivery preferences. They receive the same workspace data but can customize which sections they care about. A salesperson might show only Lead sections; a developer might show only Site Health.
Is the brief the same as the Agent Report?
The Daily Brief is a daily morning summary — concise and action-focused. The Agent Report is a deeper analysis available on demand or weekly — PDF-exportable, suitable for sharing with stakeholders or investors.
