How AI lead scoring works
Learn how CooVex's AI assigns a 0–100 score to each lead and what factors influence it.
What is AI lead scoring?
CooVex automatically assigns every lead a score from 0 to 100. A higher score means the lead is more likely to convert based on your specific business context. This lets you focus your time on the leads most worth pursuing.
Scoring factors
Firmographic fit (40 points)
- Industry match — does their industry align with your ICP?
- Company size — does it fit your target range?
- Geography — are they in your target market?
- Website presence — do they have an active web presence?
Behavioral signals (35 points)
- Email engagement (opens, clicks, replies)
- Website visits (with embed installed)
- Re-engagement after going cold
- Response speed to outreach
Intent signals (25 points)
- Keywords in their profile matching your product
- Recent activity that suggests buying intent
- Mentions of problems your product solves
Score ranges
- 80–100 — Hot lead. Prioritize immediately.
- 60–79 — Warm lead. Follow up within 24 hours.
- 40–59 — Medium lead. Nurture with drip campaigns.
- 0–39 — Cold lead. Low priority or needs qualification.
How to improve scoring accuracy
The more context you give the AI, the better it scores. In Settings → Agent Config, define your ideal customer profile (ICP) — industry, company size, pain points, and geography. The scoring model recalibrates immediately.
Scores update automatically
Scores are not static. Every time new data comes in (email open, website visit, CRM update), the score is recalculated. The agent will notify you when a lead's score jumps significantly.
