What the chatbot does

Setting up the chatbot

Step 1 — Train on your content

Go to Agent → AI Chatbot and click Add Knowledge Sources. You can add:

  • Your website URL (CooVex crawls and indexes it automatically)
  • Uploaded documents (PDFs, Word docs, text files)
  • Manual Q&A pairs (specific questions with specific answers)
  • Your CooVex product and pricing data (imported automatically)

Step 2 — Configure behavior

Set the chatbot’s name, avatar, and greeting message. Define:

  • When to ask for lead information (immediately vs. after a threshold of engagement)
  • Which questions to ask for qualification
  • What happens when the chatbot cannot answer (escalate to human, offer email follow-up, or show a contact link)

Step 3 — Embed on your website

Copy the embed snippet from the Chatbot dashboard and paste it before the closing </body> tag on your site. The chatbot widget appears immediately as a floating button in the corner of every page.

If you use WordPress, install the CooVex plugin and enable the chatbot with one toggle — no code required.

Lead capture and pipeline integration

Every lead captured by the chatbot is automatically added to your CooVex lead pipeline with:

  • Name and email
  • The full conversation transcript
  • An AI score based on qualification answers
  • Source: Chatbot (for attribution tracking)

High-scoring chatbot leads trigger an immediate Agent Signal so you can follow up while the prospect is still on your site.

Updating the chatbot’s knowledge

Re-crawl your website anytime to pick up new pages and content. CooVex also monitors your site and suggests a knowledge refresh when it detects significant new content. Changes to your pricing or product information in CooVex are reflected in chatbot answers automatically.
