Attribution answers the most expensive question in marketing: where should I spend my budget? Most businesses guess based on intuition or basic last-click analytics. CooVex builds a fuller picture by combining lead data, revenue data, and content performance into a unified view.
How attribution works in CooVex
CooVex tracks the source of each lead — where they came from, what content they engaged with, and what path they took through your funnel. When that lead converts (becomes a customer), the revenue is attributed back to the original source.
This requires the CooVex website embed script to be installed on your site. The embed tracks visitor behavior and links it to leads in your CRM when they convert.
Attribution models
CooVex supports three attribution models. You can switch between them to see how the picture changes:
- First touch — 100% credit goes to the first channel or piece of content that brought the visitor to your site. Good for measuring brand awareness channels.
- Last touch — 100% credit goes to the last interaction before conversion. Good for measuring conversion-driving content like pricing pages or demos.
- Linear — credit is split equally across all touchpoints in the customer journey. Good for understanding the full journey without over-crediting any single step.
What you can see
Channel attribution
Which channels (organic search, direct, social, email, referral) produce the most leads and the most revenue. Not just volume — quality too. A channel that produces 50 leads but 0 customers is very different from one that produces 10 leads and 8 customers.
Content attribution
Which specific blog posts, landing pages, and guides generate the leads that convert to revenue. This directly informs your content strategy: create more content like what is already working.
Campaign attribution
If you run email campaigns or drip sequences through CooVex, their attribution is tracked automatically. See which campaigns produce the most pipeline and revenue.
Using attribution to make decisions
Ask the AI Coach: “Based on our attribution data, where should I allocate my $5,000 content budget this quarter?” The Coach will analyze the data and give a specific, data-backed recommendation.
